Tonight the anti-piracy organization BREIN (http://www.anti-piracy.nl) has found the keeper of an illegal exchange service. It invoves the 20 year old W. from Helmond, The Netherlands. W. is the keeper of the illegal exchange service TorrentIt.com (previously known as 123torrents). On this site over 2000 links to movies, music, videogames offered by various release groups are offered. The release groups aim to be the first to release the newest films on-line. TorrentIt has over 27.000 registered users. BREIN demands immediate shut down of the site and an abstinence statement from W. BREIN also demands Euro 20.000 per day and a statement of income of TorrentIt. If W. fails to comply he will have to appear before a court in the Netherlands.
